ABOUT PHILLBILL
PhillBill, born Diyani Bill Munyenge, is a Cameroonian singer, songwriter, music producer and performing artist whose career bridges music production, contemporary African music and the rich musical heritage of Cameroon.
A graduate in Performing & Visual Arts from the University of Buea, PhillBill developed his production skills in Nigeria before establishing himself as PhillBill Beatz. He went on to produce music for leading Cameroonian artists including X-Maleya, Lady Ponce, Longue Longue, Daphne, Blanche Bailly and Kocee.
After his journey with Ridimz, including the success of Shabasiko, PhillBill embarked on his solo career with a renewed focus on BIKOSSA, his distinctive musical direction drawing from Cameroonian sounds including Makossa, Bensikin, Assiko and Mangambeu.
In June 2025, he released The SoundMan, an eight-track project blending Afropop, Amapiano, Soul and Trap with Cameroonian influences, presenting PhillBill not only as a performer and producer but as a storyteller through sound.
